About the Author:
The author, a descendant of William and Johanna Anderson, was born in Zimbabwe. After studying at the University of Cape Town he taught in his home town of Bulawayo. After studying theology at London School of Theology he and his late wife Geralyn served in Asia, first with OMF International and later with the Jian Hua Foundation. The author spent a total of 29 years working in Asia. He married Elizabeth in 2000. From 2006 to early 2016 the author served as pastor of Mairangi Bay Community Church in Auckland, New Zealand. He is currently engaged in further writing projects, mostly related to China
