In everyone of us is a stranger yearning to be found.
A child grows up in a small town on the Black Sea, which soon becomes her imaginary prison. Afraid of being suffocated by a society in which sexism and masochism are the norms, she dreams of flying to her freedom.
She dreads the life of an obedient Muslim woman, and particularly of losing her identity before she can find her freedom.

But a miracle happens, and she journeys through seventy-seven lands in her search for the stranger. Indeed, this metaphysical being eludes her until she discovers herself by looking deep into the mirror of her love for another.
Here is a work much more mysterious than simple memoir. The result is a praise poem to life itself and to the way human individuals can find their place in the huge organic composite which we call the cosmos.
