Maja Kriel is a Johannesburg writer with two published books behind her: a collection of short stories entitled Original sin, and a novel, Rings in A Tree.
One critic found aspect of her short stories reminiscent of Pauline Smith and another said of her novel that it was the most devastating dissection of a marriage she had read.
